Joint Effort for Future Uganda is a community-based organization established in August 2013, dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable children, youth, and caregivers through child protection, psychosocial support, HIV services, livelihoods support, and prevention of violence against women and children.
The organization provides educational support, vocational and apprenticeship training, bakery and cottage skills, financial literacy, parenting education, backyard gardening, and agribusiness initiatives. It also promotes HIV prevention, treatment literacy, ART adherence counselling, sanitation, emergency food support, and transportation for children accessing healthcare services.
Working closely with government offices and development partners, the organization addresses poverty through development, relief, and advocacy programs. Based in Kamwenge District, it aims to expand services to Kitagwenda and Ibanda districts while empowering communities through sustainable development, health promotion, and protection of children’s rights and wellbeing.
